Dear Muscle Researchers,

The first ever virtual European Muscle Conference has already started. Participation is possible only for participants with active registration status.

The Conference is organized by the board European Society for Muscle Research (ESMR)  in partnership with the Polish Biochemical Society (PTBioch) with Prof. Jolanta Redowicz, from the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology in Warsaw, as a head of the local organizing committee.

The access to the new functions and information is available only for the participants with active registration status after logging into the participant accounts:

1. The full programme is  available

2. The poster browser is active, please go to the posters link to start browsing and commenting the posters.

3. We had two session of 45 flash-talk presentations.

4. The links to all Wednesday sessions are disclosed and available upon logging into the system

5. We had two live presentations on Monday from the Conference sponsors: Aurora Scientific and Ion Optix.

Also, visit the Gone but not Forgotten section to learn about the prominent muscle researchers who passed away since the last EMC in 2019 in Canterbury.

There is a possibility of submission of manuscripts related to the Conference topics to Acta Biochimica Polonica, the journal listed in the Journal Citation Reports that is published by the Polish Biochemical Society. We plan to assemble the special issue on muscle biology so please contact the organizers if you are interested in submission.

The Conference is under the patronage of the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology and sponsored by Aurora Scientific and Ion Optix

We are happy that despite all the circumstances over 280 muscle researchers decided to join us in the September afternoons to discuss the latest achievements in the muscle research with the top scientists in the field.

We cannot wait seeing you soon!
